Number of Countries

There are several ways to count number of countries and I use the simple one – I count 192 countries that are UN members and two countries that are non-UN members but are recognized by Russia – Abkhazia and South Ossetia. There are inflated lists that count separate territories and islands as countries but I do not think it’s correct way to count.
